Senior Center

The Edina Senior Center, located at 5280 Grandview Square, hosts recreational, educational, health and social service events Monday through Friday. With 1,500 members and a variety of activities, the Edina Senior Center offers something for everyone 55 and older.

For a $17 per person or $27 per couple membership fee, participants receive a newsletter and priority registration for trips and tours with membership through 2008. A couple is two people residing at the same address. You may now purchase a membership online. A $2.00 processing fee applies. Buy Online

Programs offered by the Center are speakers, tours, card parties, bowling and golf leagues, volleyball, softball, book clubs, pool tournaments, movies and slide shows, health screenings, free tax preparation, Community Education Classes, Art Center Classes, Elder Learning Center Classes and much more.

Performing groups feature line dancers, tap dancers and singers.

Ongoing interest groups include computer and genealogy, quilting and knitting, dominos, mahjongg, pinochle, duplicate and social bridge, plus cribbage and 500 card games and tournaments.
