Studios features a complete photography studio available for rent and a
large darkroom for use by members of the Art Center or the Crosstown Camera

Geordie Griffiths
Minneapolis photographer Geordie Griffiths
received his bachelor's degree in psychology from St. John's University
before pursuing a career in photography. His documentary work as been widely
exhibited and is included in the permanent collections of the Minnesota
Historical Society. He works locally as a wedding, portrait, editorial and
commercial photographer. Griffiths teaches our Introduction to Photographic Studio Lighting
classes throughout the year. He can also
arrange private lessons in composition, camera settings, lighting, portfolio
development and more to suit your individual needs.
Ric Johnson
Photographer and veteran instructor Ric
Johnson has taught Beginning and Intermediate Black and White Darkroom
courses at the Edina Art Center for six years. His knowledge
of black and white photography and thorough instruction techniques
contribute to his students learning to produce high-quality negatives and
prints.
Polly Norman
Professional
photographer and artist Polly Norman has won many awards for her fine art
photography and abstract painting. Her class,
Hand Coloring Black-and-White Photos, starts with a
demo on how to color a photographic portrait with students
following along with the instructor. Then, the class practices on student's
own prints, if they choose to bring them.
Stephen Haynes
A photographer since 1969, Stephen Haynes is an internationally-known and
published expert whose principal subject is the fine art nude. His work has
appeared in several juried shows and in multiple online venues. He currently
works with a high-end Canon digital SLR system to produce fine art prints
for sale nationally.
