Holly Stone
Holly’s lifetime involvement in the arts include a
formal study in visual arts at Hamline University; University of
Minnesota; and Wayne State University, Detroit, Mich. as well as many
years of study with local and national known instructors. Experienced in
various media including oils, watercolor, acrylic and pastels, she is an
active participant in art shows and exhibits in the Twin Cities and
surrounding areas.
Holly enjoys painting murals for businesses and private homes. Examples
of her mural work can be seen at the Becker Community Center and Edina
Art Center.
Holly loves painting “en plein aire”, on site outdoors, and many of her
paintings reflect the beauty of nature, especially the Minnesota North
Shore.
Holly teaches oil and acrylic painting classes at Edina Art Center.
