A Tile Tour

A Tile Tour This video tour features Arts and Crafts period tiles incorporated by the architect William M. Kenyon in his own Minneapolis home in 1917. Ernest Batchelder and Henry Chapman Mercer created the tiles.

Batchelder lived in Pasadena, Calif., but he created the summer school for the Minneapolis Handicraft Guild and taught classes there for five years. Mercer had his home and studio in Doylestown, Penn. It is now a museum where tiles like those featured in this video can be seen.
