Dispatch

The Edina Communications Center is located in the Edina Police Department and serves as the 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point for the City of Edina. The Center operates 24 hours a day and is staffed by eight full-time professional dispatchers. Dispatchers answer emergency calls and non-emergency calls using advanced computer and radio systems.

Our goal is to coordinate responses for public safety services from the Police, Fire and Public Works departments in a professional and timely manner.
